What can I even say about this lens? To many, it’s the holy grail of Canon zooms and for good reason. It’s also our most popular lens, which is why we stock several dozen copies of it. Outstanding image quality, fast f/2.8 aperture and pretty darn sharp wide open. The only drawback on this lens is the weight. You don’t want to walk around the zoo all day with it and if you’re not interested in building up your triceps, then this is not the lens for you.
