TIP #1: It is easy to change your gear arrival and ship back dates throughout the site. You can find the option to change your dates on any category page (Cameras, Lighting, Stabilization, etc.), any product page or the cart. This comes in handy when determining the cost to rent a product.
TIP #2: We HIGHLY recommend having your gear arrive before your shoot date. We cannot control what happens during shipping. We will always do our best to ensure the gear arrives exactly as planned but there are definitely some things out of our control.
We make shipping easy by including up to 2 Day, round-trip shipping, in the price of the rental through our preferred carrier FedEx. Not a FedEx fan? We also have options to ship via UPS! We can ship your gear anywhere in the United States including to hotels. Just remember that someone needs to be at your home or business to sign for it if you choose either of those options!
TIP #3: We cannot make requests for the shipper to leave the package on your doorstep if you are away. Sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager or UPS My Choice to request home deliveries when you are actually there and/or pre-sign for the package.
Like we say above, this step is all you! Shoot as much, or as little, as you'd like. Take your gear on a road trip or even out of the country!
TIP #4: Needing to extend your rental? It's easy! Before 5pm (EST) on the last day of your rental, simply login to the website and visit the “My Account” section. In the "Currently Renting" tab, Click the red "Extend your rental" button. Then choose the new rental end date. In rare cases, due to limited quantity or scheduling, some items may not be eligible for extension.
We hate goodbyes, but all good things do come to an end. We make returning the gear simple by including a prepaid return label in the rental so all you need to do is pack the gear back into the Pelican Case it arrived in, putting that case in the cardboard box and resealing it, then attach that return label to the box. Finally, drop it off (or schedule a pickup) with the carrier you had it delivered with
TIP #5: We suggest sticking the return label on the box after opening it so not to lose it.
TIP #6: ALWAYS ask for a receipt when dropping your gear off at a FedEx or UPS Store. This provides proof that you did leave the package with them.
