The core of this package centers around the 17-55 f/2.8 IS and the legendary 70-200 f/2.8 IS III.  The 17-55 is the crop body equivalent of the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L.  The 17-55 was designed to cover the same range as the 24-70 does on a full frame body.  The bonus of the EF-S 17-55 is that it includes an Image Stabilization system to help in low light situations.  

Paired in this package with the 17-55 is the 70-200 f/2.8 IS III.  This is one of the most versatile tools for wedding photography.  There's plenty of reach at the long end of this lens to allow you to remain unobtrusive during ceremonies or receptions.  You can leverage the fast f/2.8 aperture and the compression a longer lens provides to really control distracting backgrounds by utilizing the beautiful bokeh this lens provides.
