Super 35/APS-C Designed. The Optimo Style 16-40mm T2.8 is designed specifically for Super 35/crop-sensor formats. It offers a focal length roughly equivalent to 24-60mm/26-64mm, respectively. Its standard Canon EF mount makes the Optimo Style 16-40mm compatible with a wide variety of cameras. Supports up to 4K. In keeping with the latest technology, the Optimo Style 16-40mm supports up to 4K video resolution.
Fast T2.8 Aperture. Enables both low-light shooting and shallow depth of field.
High-Quality Build. Using Angenieux’s unique mechanical design, the Optimo Style has exceptionally precise zoom and focus. It features calibrated focus marks; no ramping or breathing; and geared zoom, focus, and aperture rings. Despite its sturdy build, the lens is a fairly lightweight 4.2 lbs.

This lens can cause some degree of vignetting when shooting with sensors exceeding 4K capabilities. Specifically, RED users should expect to see some light to moderate vignetting at higher resolutions that may result in unusable footage.
