The ARRI LPL Lens Mount with PL Adapter compliments the ARRI Alexa Mini LF and its large format sensor, but it will also fit the ARRI ALEXA Mini and AMIRA with some caveats. Key features include.

Compatibility. The ARRI LPL Lens Mount allows users to pair LPL Mount lenses with ARRI cameras like the ALEXA Mini LFALEXA Mini, and AMIRA but is optimized with LBUS support when used with the Alexa cameras only. This rental includes a PL to LPL mount adapter to allow attaching standard PL-mount lenses.

Alexa L-BUS Support. When connected to an ALEXA Mini, you can take advantage of cforce-type lens motors (not included) for added functionality. This is not available when used with an ARRI AMIRA.

ARRI LDS-2, LDS-1, & Cooke /i. Display lens data like t-stop, focal length, and focus distance in status overlays or on connected monitors when used with compatible PL lenses featuring LDS-2, LDS-1, or Cooke /i interface technologies.

Will this mount work with cameras other than the ARRI ALEXA Mini, Alexa Mini LF, or AMIRA?

  • No. This LPL lens mount is only compatible with those three cameras and will not work with the ALEXA SXT, XT, Classic, or LT.
