Adapter May Be Required. While this card is natively compatible with the ALEXA Classic, a Codex SxS to XR adapter is required for use with the ALEXA XT, and a Codex SxS to SXR adapter is required for use with the ALEXA LF or SXT W. If you are renting an ALEXA LF from us, an adapter is already included with the camera rental.

Q & A

Will this only work in ARRI cameras?

No. This card will perform the same as Sony SxS media in other cameras, but availability will be better for non-ARRI versions of SxS media.

Can I use this for ARRIRAW recordings?

No. Due to speed limitations, this card is only capable of capturing ProRes when used with a compatible ALEXA camera.

Will this work natively in all ALEXA cameras?

The ALEXA Classic is natively compatible with this card but the XT, SXT W, and LF cameras all require a Codex adapter.
