An URSA Made for Broadcast. A couple small changes to the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K make the Blackmagic Design URSA Broadcast (B4) a broadcast-style camera with excellent video quality, an affordable price, and rare internal recording. The sensor is 2/3-inch and can record up to UHD 4K at 60 fps.

Professional Features. With the URSA Boadcast Camera (B4), you get a raft of external controls that eliminate menu diving for focus assist, frame rate, and exposure settings. There’s an exterior LCD that provides at-a-glance shooting data, a four-position ND filtration wheel (0/2/4/6-stops), and dual CFast 2.0 and SD memory card slots for recording less-intensive formats.

Compact Handheld Design. The URSA Mini Broadcast maintains the form factor of other URSA Mini cameras. The optional Blackmagic Design Shoulder Mount Kit and URSA Viewfinder make the camera even more versatile, allowing you to swap it from hand-held shooting to over-the-shoulder to a tripod with ease.

Touchscreen Controls. Despite its reduced size, the URSA Mini comes equipped with a five-inch folding monitor. Its touchscreen interface allows access to all menu functions, eliminating the hassle of menu-diving.

Anton Bauer Gold Mount. When you rent an URSA, it’ll come with an Anton Bauer Gold Mount battery plate pre-attached. We include one Anton Bauer Titon 90 Gold Mount battery and one Anton Bauer Twin 60 Charger. If you need additional batteries and chargers, you can rent them by following the above links.

Does this rental include DaVinci Resolve?

Will this camera work with any B4 lens?

Yes. Any B4 mount broadcast lens for 2/3-inch systems will mount to this camera. A broadcast lens control connector is also available for lens power and control of compatible lenses.

Are there any recording limitations with using SD memory?

Raw HD and 4K/30p ProRes can be recorded to UHS-II SD memory cards. You can find a list of manufacturer-recommended SD cards and formats they support here.
If you’re looking to record in higher resolutions and frame rates, you’ll need to use CFast 2.0 memory cards. You can find a list of manufacturer-recommended CFast 2.0 cards and formats they support here.
