Switchable between mic and line level
Power and mute buttons
Use with any handheld dynamic mic
XLR connector
Mic It Up. The Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless Mic/Line Transmitter (XLR) connects to a S1 Pro+ via one of the two integrated ports on the back of the PA, near the channel controls. There’s a rubber protective cover over these ports to keep them clean, but they’re easy to remove, as is connecting this device!
Connection Direction. To connect the transmitter to the S1 Pro+, you’ll insert the powered-off transmitter XLR-side facing into one of the two XLR ports. From here, you can leave it in to charge or store, but to connect it to your microphone, you’ll remove the transmitter after 5 seconds. From here, press the power button on the transmitter and wait for a blue light to pop up. Connect to your microphone, and voila! The performer or speaker can use the microphone from about 30 feet away from the speaker before the sound starts getting wonky, so keeping close is your best bet.
Charging, Power, Etc. As mentioned above, the transmitter can be charged and stored inside of the S1 Pro+ by just leaving it in the integrated port. The charging status is displayed on the corresponding channels’ OLED screen, and once fully charged, the transmitter can be used for up for 4 hours. There’s a convenient mute button on the transmitter too, if ya need it!
Absolutely! The Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless Instrument Transmitter is suitable for instruments using a 1/4" input!
The transmitter does not offer phantom power.
