Canon RF-Mount. Capture stellar imagery and high-quality video content on your RF-mount camera with this Canon RF 16-28mm f/2.8 IS STM! Small and light, this zoom lens sports a maximum aperture of 2.8 and a minimum focusing distance of 7.9-inches at 28mm and 9.8-inches at 16mm.
High-Quality Optics. Edge-to-edge image excellence is at the forefront of the 16-28mm, but it doesn’t stop there. Four Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) elements, two aspherical elements, and a stunning rounded nine-blade diaphragm are huge components of this lens’s complex optical design, which is comprised of 16 elements in 13 groups.
Optical Image Stabilization. The optical image stabilizer offers up to 5.5 stops of correction on its own, which will help compensate for hand-held photography and shooting in low light. When you pair this lens with an RF camera that has in-body image stabilization (IBIS), you get up to 8 stops of correction for even greater performance without the need to up the ISO or decrease shutter speed.
Stepping Motor Autofocus System. The RF 16-28mm f/2.8 IS STM‘s built-in stepping autofocus motor provides fast and smooth continuous autofocus performance in both still and video shooting. It also offers full-time manual focus adjustment.
