Multitool for Deity Wireless Ecosystem. The Deity Microphones BP-TRX Compact Transceiver / Recorder is a one-stop shop for all things audio perfect for just about any set or production. The BP-TRX is not just a recorder but a transceiver as well, with a range of up to 328’ and capable of pairing with up to four additional BP-TRX units when transmitting audio. This unit can also simultaneously transmit audio and record a clean take to a microSD card with timecode data, so there’s no fear of losing audio even with interference.

Transmit. Receive. Record. The BP-TRX has seven modes depending on how you need to use it, from transmitting and recording to in-ear monitoring and camera hopping. The BP-TRX also has timecode support for audio/video syncing, including a dedicated timecode-only mode if you need it, with six of the seven modes including timecode by default.

Lavalier Mics Included. This kit includes a waterproof omni-directional lav microphone, complete with mic clip and windscreen. The mic features a locking 3.5mm connector to avoid crackles and pops from jostled plugs and cables.

Internal Batteries. This transceiver is equipped with a rechargeable internal battery that is rated for up to 12 hours of continuous use. We include a USB Type C cable for charging the device from standard USB power bricks (not included) or powered computer USB ports.

Q & A

Why does the Deity keep dropping out even at close range?

Make sure the antennae are screwed on properly and facing away from you. Keep the transceiver away from any routers or cell phones, as they can cause interference.
If you’re using multiple BP-TRX units, make sure to use a different user ID for each.

Why won't the screen or buttons work?

The BP-TRX has a screen lock. It can be turned off by pressing and holding the Up and Down buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Will I need anything else?

If you plan on using the backup record function on one or more of the transmitter units, you’ll need a microSD card for each that is no larger than 128GB. We recommend the Sandisk UHS-1 microSDXC 128GB Extreme Pro U3 A2.
This rental does not include a USB Type C wall charger for charging the internal batteries. You can use a computer or your own.
