Focus Pro Grip. The DJI Focus Pro BG21 Grip sports an integrated 1.8" OLED screen that displays your battery level, the focus mode, focal length of the lens in use, and the position that the motor rotates! To switch between the AF/MF and AMF/MF modes, you’ll simply press the dedicated “M” mode button on the grip. Alongside the mode button, you also have access to a front dial and record buttons. To mount this grip to either side of your gimbal, a built-in NATO clamp and side adapters are provided with this rental. Two USB-C ports serve as a home base to employ communication between this grip, the LiDAR Range Finder, Focus Motor Pro, and your camera. The BG21 grip features a built-in battery that powers the device for up to 2.5 hours, and can easily be recharged via the additional USB-C charging port.

Focus Pro Hand Unit. The DJI Focus Pro Hand Unit provides you with a 1.09" touchscreen that displays your battery voltage, Bluetooth connection status, the focus mode in use, and more! The provided “M” button on this unit is used to switch between AF/MF mode and AMF/MF mode, while the A/B button is used to set focus points. To set the points, all you’ll need to do is press the A/B button once to select point A, then rotate the focus knob to the position you want, and select the button again to select point B. To clear both points, just press the button once more! There’s a ton of tiny details on this compact hand unit, including a record start/stop button, trigger, zoom stick, iris marking strip, and and iris slider! This unit is powered by a single NP-F550 battery, which we do not include with this rental. We recommend grabbing the tried ‘n’ true Hawk-Woods DV-F590 L-Series Battery.

Focus Pro LiDAR. The DJI Focus Pro LiDAR Range Finder adds accurate and intelligent autofocus to your gimbal, and holds a gold mine’s worth of features, including a 65.6 foot detection range with 76,800 ranging points, wide-angle and telephoto modes, and a built-in 30mm focal length camera with a 70° field of view! Sporting the newest generation of ActiveTrack Pro, this range finder reads images through the integrated camera and eliminates the need for the an image transmitter. This software allows you to monitor directly from your gimbal’s OLED touchscreen, and if your subject is briefly obscured, it’s designed to relocate and retain focus almost immediately. This LiDAR range finder offers four intuitive modes that introduce specialized settings specific to what you’re shooting. Tracking Mode is designed to recognize up to five subjects at once and allows you to select the primary focus subject, Smart Object Identification Mode focuses on a human or vehicle, Flex Spot Mode activates focus lock and only supports autofocus, and Wide Mode immediately detects a single subject, follows its movements, and supports autofocus and ActiveTrack. You’ll find that this range finder boasts similar design qualities to the LiDAR Range Finder for RS, but we all know what’s on the inside is what counts! This Focus Pro LiDAR Range Finder provides a longer sensing range, more ranging points, and more intelligent subject recognition capabilities, resulting in an improved focusing experience. It connects to the Focus Pro Motor via an available USB-C port, and is designed to only be connected to the camera horizontally, even if the camera is vertical.

Focus Pro Motor. The DJI Focus Pro Motor is designed to control the focus, iris, and zoom (FIZ) functions of your camera when mounted on select RS gimbals. This Pro version builds on older models with an updated 30% speed increase and 300 gear teeth. More features include 15mm rod capabilities, a low latency of just 10 milliseconds, and transmission up to 524.9 feet away.
