Autofocus On Manual Lenses. The DJI Ronin 3D Focus System for RS 2 Gimbal offers something exceptionally rare. You can use it to turn manual focus lenses into autofocus lenses, provided you have a DJI RS 2 Gimbal Stabilizer Pro Combo that includes a follow focus motor kit.

Mounting. This device mounts to the hot shoe of your camera and feeds distance data to the DJI RS 2 gimbal. The 3D Focus System utilizes single-point-type AF, and the required USB Type-C cable needed for linking the 3D Focus is included with this rental.

Compatibility. This kit works with manual lenses with hard stops only. If your manual lens does not have hard stops and is focus-by-wire, focus consistency cannot be maintained.
