This tripod, at full extension, reaches lengths of 109.4 inches and securely mounts heavyweight systems up to nearly 93 pounds. Even if you don’t need all that height, the Series 5’s legs can be organized to reach just 3.9 inches off the ground.

Feature Packed. The 6 section legs of the Series 5 lock safely in place thanks to G-Lock Ultra twist-locks, which also prevent unwanted dust, dirt, and moisture from entering the tubing. Each leg also features a 50mm rubber articulating foot, which will be stable and safe on most surfaces, but they are removable and can be swapped for optional Gitzo branded metal spikes if you’re setting up on dirt or sand. The base portion of this tripod features a 3/8"-16 Easy Link attachment thread for additional accessories, like magic arms or LED lighting.
