Large Touchscreen Display. The Hollyland Mars M1 5.5" Wireless Transceiver Monitor features a 5.5-inch touchscreen display with sharp resolution and 1000 cd/m² brightness, making it great for follow-focus and directors’-monitoring applications. The touchscreen supports the Rec. 709 color gamut for pro-grade color rendition, and there are five selectable 3D LUT presets for transferring colors to the monitor. You can use the touchscreen to toggle between transmitter and receiver modes.

Input and Output. This monitor accepts video via HDMI and 3G-SDI. An HDMI loop-through connector allows passthrough of transmitted video to monitors and secondary wireless devices, and there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Wireless Transmission and Reception. The Mars M1 has a 450-foot maximum wireless transmission range with a mere 0.08s latency, and lets you wirelessly transmit and receive lossless video up to 4K30p for expanded compatibility and connectivity. The SDI input gives you expanded frame-rate flexibility for broadcast and production standards and compatibility from production to post. One transmitter can work with up to two receivers or four devices running the Hollyview app.

Compatibility. In addition to other Mars M1 units, this monitor can transmit to and receive from all Mars 300 Pro, Mars 400S Pro, and Mars 4K models.

Batteries Not Included. The Mars M1 is compatible with Sony NP-F L-type batteries, but this rental doesn’t include batteries or a battery plate. App Monitoring. You can use the Hollyview app for Android and iOS to monitor your transmissions on a tablet or smartphone. It also lets you transmit to apps and receivers, and to receive from compatible transmitters in these configurations:
