The Pocket Jib Traveler is Kessler’s redesigned follow-up to their successful KC-Lite. The Pocket Jib is even smaller and lighter than the KC-Lite. Key features include:
Compact, lightweight build
Independent horizontal and vertical drag controls
Three mounting holes: one 3/8"-16, two 1/4"-20
6-lb. weight included
Size Matters. The Kessler Pocket Jib Traveler is only 27 inches long when collapsed and weighs a mere 5.5 lbs.
What a Drag. This jib features independent drag controls for horizontal and vertical movement.
Mount Up. The Jib has one 3/8"-16 threaded mounting hole and two 1/4"-20 threaded mounting holes, meaning you can secure it to most tripods. Your tripod/head must be able to support the combined weight of jib, counter-weight, and camera, which is roughly 17 lbs. This rental includes the camera-platform extender for mounting deeper cameras.
Counterbalance. We include one 6-lb. weight that will counterbalance a DSLR and average-sized lens. If you’ll be using the jib for heavier rigs, you may need to supplement more weight via the weight-bar hook.
This jib won’t work with large cameras. Its design limits its use to DSLRs and small camcorders.
This jib isn’t compatible with Kessler’s Hercules Head.
