Versatile Wide-Angle Prime. The Leica 35mm f/1.4 Summilux-M ASPH (2022)’s versatile focal length is popular for landscape, street, and documentary shooting. Its newly engineered double-cam unit gives you an improved 1.3-foot minimum focusing distance that lets you get in close.
Fast Aperture. The fast aperture enables extensive depth-of-field control and great low-light performance.
Advanced Optical Design. As part of the Summilux family, the 35mm f/1.4 features top-of-the-line optics. Its five-group/nine-element optical design incorporates an aspherical element to minimize aberrations and distortion while producing high-contrast images with accurate color reproduction.
Optimized For Leica. This lens’s 6-bit encoding provides automatic edge correction for vignetting on compatible Leica M-mount cameras. Please note that if you’re using the lens with an adapter on a mirrorless camera, the camera won’t transmit EXIF data.
Pull-Out Lens Hood. A newly designed pull-out lens hood, which is built into the lens, blocks stray light to help prevent flares and ghosting.
