HDMI + NDI I/O. The NewTek Spark Plus I/O 4K extends the reach of HDMI delivery by converting a compatible device’s HDMI output signal to NDI, allowing a low latency video transmission to travel over ethernet at up to UHD 4K/60p. You can also convert cameras with native NDI support to standard HDMI for outputting to external monitors and recorders. Please note, an ethernet cable is not included with this rental.
Built for IP Video Workflows. The NSP4KIO allows you to share video over IP with any compatible system, device, or application that supports NDI. This converter transmits video to your network using your preferred NDI transfer mode, including unicast and multicast UDP with forward error correction (FEC), and unicast TCP.
Web Browser Interface. Like most NDI and IP video products, the Spark Plus I/O 4K supports remote configuration via web-based user interface, allowing you to monitor video, manage login credentials, access recording controls, and configure audio, video, and network settings from any supported Web browser on any compatible networked device.
AC or PoE+ Power. This converter can be powered using the included USB charger and cable, or for a more efficient setup, the device also supports Power over Ethernet for NDI video transmission and passthrough power over a single Cat6 or better cable. Please note, PoE+ requires a compatible PoE switch like the TP-LINK 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Switch, which is available as a separate rental item.
Yes! If you have trouble locating your device or forget an assigned IP address during your rental period, you can reset the Spark Plus by pressing the button on the bottom with a paperclip and using the fallback address 192.168.100.168.
The easiest way to access the webUI is through NewTek’s NDI Studio or Video Monitor app or simply pointing your computer’s web browser to the device’s IP address.
Once the web remote is loaded, you will be prompted to enter credentials (admin/admin) and accept the EULA.
This rental does not include ethernet cables but they are available here as separate rental items.
