Manual-Focus Design. This lens’s precision manual-focusing system gives you a 1.6-foot minimum focusing distance, while an OLED information panel on top of the lens displays focus distance, depth of field, and aperture-setting information to help you quickly and simply see lens settings and hyperfocal distances.

Design and Control. You can use the programmable control ring for quiet aperture control or exposure compensation, while an assignable L.Fn button works together with your camera’s Fn button to facilitate quick exposure-setting and function changes. The electromagnetic aperture mechanism gives you greater exposure-control stability that’s crucial when working with fast continuous-shooting rates. The rotating tripod collar helps keep things stable when you’re using this lens on a tripod or monopod.
