What’s New? This update to the original Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 X OIS sees a new Power OIS system that adds compatibility with Panasonic’s latest-gen cameras with 5-axis Dual IS / Dual IS II. Additional changes include an autofocus system update for faster performance, smoother automatic exposure changes via new iris, and cosmetic changes to the barrel.
Fast-Aperture Standard Zoom. With a focal length equivalent to 24-70mm after crop factor, the Panasonic 12-35mm f/2.8 X Power OIS II is great for reportage and everyday photography.
High-Quality Optics. The Leica influence shows in this lens’s optics. The 12-35 features four aspherical elements and one extra-low dispersion element to drastically reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range while keeping your images clear and sharp. A Nano Surface Coating reduces ghosting and flare.
Linear Autofocus Motor. This lens’s linear motor provides fast, accurate, and nearly silent autofocus performance for still images and videos alike.
POWER Optical Image Stabilization. The in-lens stabilizer helps to minimize camera shake. Dual-IS compatibility with supported Panasonic cameras works in tandem with sensor stabilization to further eliminate camera shake.
High-Quality Build. The 12-35mm’s high-quality splash-, dust-, and freezeproof metal build gives you peace of mind when shooting in adverse conditions.
