Monitor Offset. The RED DSMC2 Tactical Top Plate works great for mounting a RED DSMC2 Touch 7-inch Ultra-Brite LCD in a position viewable for shoulder mount and gimbal operators.

Pass-Through I/O Ports. The top plate has a pass through for smart handles like the RED DSMC2 Top Handle. It also features an unpowered, 3-pin, Fischer port for connecting start/stop triggers and a 16-pin 1B LCD/EVF connector that allows for easy extension of RED Touch monitoring.

Accessory Threads. A RED top plate would not be complete without the swiss-cheese assortment of 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 threaded mounting holes. The 3/8"-16 holes feature ARRIstandard spacing for guide pins and extra accessory security.

Compatibility. This top plate is only compatible with REDDSMC2 brains running firmware v7.0.0 or later. It is designed not to obstruct other first-party RED accessories, but if you are using third-party accessories, you could encounter issues with accessory overlap.
