Tailored For Voiceovers. The Shure SM7dB Vocal Microphone w/ Built-In Preamp’s frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz is shaped for close up clarity. The mic is known for capturing full sounding voices for broadcast and vocal recordings.

Built-In Preamp. Unlike its predecessor, the SM7dB offers a built-in preamp that is fueled from 48V phantom power. The preamp can be set for +18, +28 dB, but if you need to remove the preamp from the circuit, you can do so using the true-bypass switch.

Cardioid Pickup Pattern. The dynamic, cardioid-pattern capsule requires no phantom power, and the removable windscreen/pop filter keeps audio free from plosives. An integrated stand mount makes positioning the end-address microphone simple and secure.

Rugged Design. The SM7B’s housing is made of aluminum and steel making it incredibly durable and resistant to the dings and dents of your standard audio production environment.
