The Sony HXR-NX800 4K HDR NXCAM is a professional, compact camcorder that delivers rapid autofocus, auto-framing, and content sharing. Key features include:

Optimal Content Creation. This Sony HXR-NX800 4K HDR NXCAM sports a stacked 1.0" Exmor RS CMOS sensor to deliver enhanced 4K image quality, rapid readout speeds, and optimal low-light performance. Capable of capturing everything from close-ups to wide angle, this camcorder features a 20x optical zoom that is equivalent to 35mm full-frame 24-480mm lens. The built-in variable ND filter function provides a wide 1/4 to 1/128 ND range and allows you to adjust exposure with the simple twist of a dial.

BIONZ XR Processing and AI Assistance. The HXR-NX800 incorporates the latest BIONZ XR TM image processor in the sensor to produce higher frame rates, faster autofocus, improved ATW control, and excellent noise reduction. AI-assisted autofocus offers precise human-subject recognition, and supports Subject Recognition AF and Real-Time Tracking. With the Auto-Framing function, you can easily recognize your subjects, track them, and keep them centered in frame. If the production gets to be too quick, you can always switch to Full Auto Mode for settings like ND, Iris, Gain, Shutter, and White Balance modes.

Connectivity and More. Featuring built-in 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz Wi-Fi, and an ethernet port, the HXR-NX800 is capable of streaming directly from the camcorder to compatible live streaming services and video sharing sites. If you prefer recording over streaming, you can also easily upload files saved to your memory card straight to a cloud or FTP server. To connect with more external equipment, this camcorder offers HDMI Type-A, USB Type-C, LAN, REMOTE, and various other connectors.

Memory and Power. This camcorder accepts separately available CFexpress Type-A and SD UHS-II memory cards through its dual card slot. To fuel up, we include the Sony BC-U1A Charger and Sony BP-U35 Battery, but if you’d like to use a higher capacity battery, this camcorder also accepts Sony BP-U70 and Sony BP-U100 batteries!

The Sony PXW-Z200 4K XDCAM supports 12G SDI and HDMI connection, as well as Timecode via BNC connection. The Sony HXR-NX800 4K HDR 1" Sensor NXCAM Camcorder only supports HDMI connection.
