The Sony NP-FV100A is a high-capacity, rechargeable V Series camcorder battery pack and replacement to the Sony NP-FV100. Its primary improvement over its predecessor is a more accurate power indicator communicated with supported camcorder models.

Its 3410mAh, 8.4V capacity provides continuous power to compatible camcorders for longer than the standard NP-FV70.
