The Sony Remote Controller for Airpeak S1 Drone is an add-on accessory for the Sony Airpeak S1 Professional Drone & Gremsy Gimbal T3 Kit. This controller is compatible with smartphones or tablets up to 7" wide, features customizable buttons for extra control over the drone, gimbal, and camera, and can be paired with an additional remote for dual-pilot operation. If you’re renting the Airpeak S1 from us, your rental will come with a controller. You can view the live feed from the drone’s camera via your mobile device or on an external monitor by outputting the video feed from the HDMI port on the controller. The controller simultaneously sends control signals and receives video-transmission signals at up to 1.2 miles with ideal line of sight. This controller has both 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequencies so that you can avoid interference and eliminate image lag. Again, Sony reports this as the maximum distance with ideal line-of-sight conditions, so your literal mileage may vary.
