Can the slider be mounted to a tripod or light stand?

Yes. The slider features (4) 3/8"-16 mounting points for tripods or light stands (not included). The base 2ft section has one in the center and two at either end of the track, and each 2ft extension track has one mounting point of its own.

No! Shutter release cables are not included with this rental. To avoid making you pay and sort through a bag of unnecessary 2.5mm cables, we rent all of these separately by camera system.
