Versatile Wide-Angle Prime. The Tamron 20mm f/2.8 Di III OSD M 1:2 for Sony E’s wide-angle focal length is ideal for portraiture and street photography, while its 1:2 maximum magnification ratio and 4.3-inch minimum focusing distance make it great for working with close-up subjects. Its f/2.8 maximum aperture gives you excellent depth-of-field control and consistent brightness. Using an APS-C camera? This lens will give you a 30mm equivalent focal length.
Advanced Optics. The nine-group/ten-element optical formula incorporates three Low-Dispersion elements and one molded glass aspherical element to give you sharp, high-contrast images across the image plane. Each element features Tamron’s BBAR coating to combat flare and ghosting for even greater contrast in backlit and harsh lighting conditions.
Fast, Accurate Autofocus. The 20mm autofocuses quickly, accurately, and smoothly, making it ideal for still and video use. It also offers full-time manual-focus override for even greater precision.
Durable Construction. You can use this lens in inclement conditions thanks to its moisture-resistant build. The front lens’s fluorine coating protects against smearing and debris.
