Wireless DSMC2 and Lens Control. The Teradek RT MK3.1 Lens Control w/ MDR.ACI Receiver lets users control a single lens axis, trigger record start/stop from up to 5000’, and remotely access DSMC2 menus (smart device required), positioning this product as both a lightweight integrated receiver and high-sensitivity wireless follow focus. The MDR.ACI connects directly to the assistant side of a DSMC2 brain and features on-board customizable user buttons and a bright LCD. 
Important to note: Teradek describes the wireless range as line-of-sight, outdoors, and in ideal conditions. A more reasonable expectation would be around 3000 ft outdoors and 500 ft when used indoors or areas with heavy wireless interference.

Strong, Nearly Silent Motor. The MK3.1 brushless motor puts 2.2Nm of torque to your lens gears while maintaining smooth precise movement. The motors are near-silent even at fast speeds, and the rail attachment accepts both 15mm and 19mm accessory rods. Backlash compensation accommodates a wide selection of geared cine lenses. Need to control more than one lens axis? We also rent the Teradek RT Brushless Lens Motor Add-on. Add up to two motors for complete FIZ control.

MK3.1 Wireless Controller. The 6-axis controller gives you tons of options with four customizable axes, slider control, and one large focus knob. The force joystick button is perfect for smoother, more sensitive zooms. One Canon LP-E6N battery powers the controller for an impressive 36 hours.

Expander Module and Power Source Required. The MDR.ACI requires a DSMC2 expander module featuring a dedicated CTRL input and a d-tap external power source like the ones commonly found on brick batteries and battery plates. If you are renting a DSMC2 brain from us, we already include a DSMC2 Base Expander.
