The Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 Nokton Type II is an ultra-fast normal range lens for Micro 4/3 cameras and an update to the original Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 Nokton. Key features include:
50mm equivalent focal length after sensor crop
Excellent for low-light photography
Stepless, de-clicked aperture ring
Manual-focus design for precision control
Stepless Aperture. The Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 Nokton Type II features an aperture-ring mechanism that lets you switch from click-stops to stepless operation, making it a great choice for stills and video. The optics remain unchanged, but this lens’s aperture mechanism makes it a bit larger and heavier than its predecessor.
Fast Aperture. The f/0.95 aperture gives you precision depth-of-field control and the ability to shoot in extremely low light.
Normal-Range Equivalent. The Voigtlander 25mm f/0.95 Nokton Type II provides a 50mm equivalent focal length after the Micro 4/3 sensor’s 2x crop factor.
Fully Manual. There are no electronics inside this lens, so all operation is manual. The wide manual focus ring is ultra smooth, and you can easily switch the aperture between clicked and clickless stops via the clutch design. Since there are no electronics in the lens, it doesn’t transmit EXIF data.
