The Westcott Optical Spot by Lindsay Adler includes a focusable Canon EF mount lens inside a snug housing, eliminating almost all light spill for precise beam control. Key features include:

Canon EF Mount Lens. Included with the Optical Spot is a 150mm f/3.5 focusable lens that fits snugly inside a housing, reducing any light spill and instead directing all light through a gobo or gel straight onto the subject. Cropping blades built into the housing can be used to further adjust the light, giving you ultimate control over your images.

Interchangeable Gobos and Gels. Included with the Optical Spot are several swappable gobos for creative lighting effects and gels to adjust the color of your scene. More gobo and gel packs are available to rent separately for a wide variety of options. These are compatible with non-bulb-based strobes up to 600Ws and 100W COBs.

Q & A

Can I use this with continuous lighting?

Due to how hot the Optical Spot becomes when being used with continuous light, we recommend not using any modeling lamps with this product, and only using it with a strobe light.

Can I use this modifier with any light source?

No. This package includes a mount designed to work with Profoto strobe lights.
